Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options. Check the box labeled
"Show an envelope icon in the notification area"

Brian,
Does this notifier run independently of Outlook. Do I need to have the
Outlook running for this icon to work?

Outlook needs to be running.
