I have added a couple of events to my entourage calendar, only to see them disappear in less than a minute. Now, emails that I download from my earthlink account to my computer are vanishing before I see them. for example, along the bottom of the screen, it will say 3 emails are being download but only two appear. or that one is being downloaded, but none appear. they are not in my junk email folder nor are they in my deleted items folder. this is getting scary! Any ideas what the problem might be?

You could have View Flagged or Unread only selected. Look under View in the
Menu bar.

If this is not the problem, select the custom Mail view (bottom of the
folder pane) "Received Today." Do you see the missing emails? If yes, it's
possible you have accidentally set a Mailing List Manager rule that is
moving the messages. Look under Tools in the Menu bar and select Mailing
List Manager. Delete the bad rule.

Alas! I checked all those things: I have not selected "view flagged" or "unread only." I looked in Received Today and there weren't any messages I had not read. And I looked at Mailing List Manager, and there are no rules there at all.

Set you Account under the Options tab to "allow online access." This will
allow you to see exactly what mail is on the server. You can use this to
verify that you are receiving all of your mail. If you see a message using
online access, you can then do a Spotlight search in Entourage to find it.

Entourage will send all mail to the Inbox or Junk folder unless you have a
Mailing List Manager rule or custom Rule set.

bumping this topic.

I just experienced the same problem.

I use a Macbook with Office 2008, and also, Windows XP through VMWare Fusion.
Recently I installed office 2007 on the Windows XP environment, since then any event I create in Entourage (mac) vanishes after 30-45 seconds.

I would really appreciate any help on this matter.
