Hi,
This is a follow-up to previous messages regarding a problem that I am still
experiencing.
There are times when any emails that are on the mail server are downloaded
to Outlook 2007 each time it is started. I am using Pop3 for mail. The OS is
Vista.
This also seems to be tied into a problem regarding new mail that isn't
properly received. (The mail appears to be received by Outlook; but, the new
mail icon is not displayed in the Taskbar area of Vista. If I look at the
mail in the Inbox, the new mail is not shown until I leave that folder, click
on a different folder (for example, Junk), and then return to the Inbox
folder.
This problem only seems to occur after a system restart. It eventually
starts working correctly on it's own; but, I can't figure out why.
I would really like to understand what is going on so that I can correct it.
Thanks for any advice that can be offered.
