Emails desappear from the screen

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Since I moved some email from a folder to another one, I've started to have problem in the INBOX folder (only in the INBOX folder).

I've some white lines instead of email infos: if I click on the white lines, the emails appear again...but if I scroll they desappear again...

And I cannot manage to delete them or move to another folder.

And the programme is going slowly...

Any good idea????

This is a sign of database corruption. Make a duplicate in the Finder first
as additional backup. A rebuild does make a duplicate, but sometimes in the
process the original and backup get merged resulting in total disaster.
It's rare but it happens.

How to rebuild:

Some Entourage 2008 users have found that moving into a new Identity works
when rebuild does not fix the problem. How to manually move your data. (when
import fails and/or you need to move to a new Identity same version or
revert to an older version)
