Emails download in triplicate

I had a problem with duplicate listserv emails downloading from the server,
so I installed the latest Office updates, including Outlook 2003.

Now I get ALL emails in triplicate or quadruplicate. How can I stop that?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

To answer my own question: I reworded my search in this group and found
several suggestions, one referring me to the filter rules. I checked, and had
several rules that were worded differently, but addressed the same issue
(such as my son's name as a rule, and my son's email as another rule, one
list group's name and the list groups email addy).

I deleted duplicates and those that weren't applicable any more, and the
problem is fixed - even the ones I had before upgrading.
