Emails duplicating

I have a strange problem. Every so often the incoming emails start
duplicating. I can get up to 8 copies of the same email for every email
that came in at that time. Anyone have a clue?

What version of Outlook do you have, and what sort of mail account(s)?

My mistake, the Outlook version is 2000 and is using the CW setup. I am
going to delete and re-create the account and change it to IMO since
this is their desired configuration anyway. Someone mentioned that
re-creating the account might resolve the issue if it isn't the result
of duplicate accounts or Rules run awry. Andre
