Emails going out by themselves. Virus?

I'm getting 'sorry, email undeliverably' notices for emails that were
successfully sent months ago! Also, a contact responded to an email that was
forwarded from my inbox and I did not send it. ??
How is this happening? Virus? Worm?
Help!

Since you ask, did you check your system for malware? Do you have
antivirus & antispyware apps installed?

It's might had to diagnose and error when you elect to keep the error messages
secret.

Describe the nature of the response. Does the person appear to be responding
to junk mail? If so, your mail address probably has been hijacked by a
spammer. There's nothing you can do about that except change your mail
address.
