Emails not downloading

This maky not be and Outlook problem, but I have tried everything else and am
now clutching at straws.

Have been using Outlook 2003 SP3 for a few years, have recently had the
problem where my emails are not downloading from the Webmail server as it
always had. My first point of call was my email provider, who have tested
everything and all is fine. Contacted the ISP and they have washed there
hand of it as it is an incoming email problem only and eveything internet
related in working as normal.

I do not get an error message - the send and receive attempts as normal but
it downloads so slow that unless the emails are small (less than 20kb) they
never get to me. So far I have deleted the email account and re-set it up.
Run a detect and repair. I have tried downloading on another computer at a
different location and had no problems.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try disabling any integration between your Antivirus software and Outlook.

Hi John,

Sorry I forgot to add that to my original post, I uninstalled my antivirus
and disbaled the Windows firewall which had absolutely no effect.
