Emails not sending in Outlook 2003

I have a dial up network. When I send a group of emails in Outlook 2003 the
first one I did is never italic and won't go while the others are and do go.
If I want to alter any of the others, just clicking on Send again does not
italic them and they don't go.
Any ideas?
