emails with images that used to display no longer display

We use Exchange Enterprose 2003 SP 2 on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. We are
receiving emails with images that as late as last week were displaying with
no problem.
Now the images do not display.

Here is an example of a link

http://www.moranandco.com/inc/thumb.asp?image=/uploads/695-Img1-ALLD-2556-259.jpg&w=220&h=143

That will bring up the in in IE but not in the email. If you message
content
is also sent to google email it displays correctly.

What can occur to cause such a problem? We have not changed any settings
but
have recently patched the server.
