Try putting your thumbnails in a table.
Let's say you have 4 images...create a table 2 columns with 4 rows, put your
thumbs in top two cells, the next row will be for descriptions then another
row of images and bottom row of descriptions (or however you want it to
look). Then create 4 new destination pages one for each full size image and
like your descriptions and/or your thumb images to each respective full size
image page.
