Embed a word file into a visio file

How do you embed a word document into a visio flowchart
file? I want to embed a full doc that can be opened from
within visio

(1) Either insert a hyperlink (Insert > Hyperlink

(2) Insert an object Insert > Object > Microsoft Word Documen
Make sure to select the radio button 'Create from file' before you click O
Once you have your object in Visio, you may want to right-click it and 'convert' it to show just an icon
