Embed Fonts - HELP

I'm currently creating a PPT document that will mostly be used on a PC and I am using fonts that most PCs have on their machine. In the PPT PC Version there is a button that you can click to embedded all fonts when you go to "Save As". Does the Mac Version have anything like that to ensure some viewers who don't have the fonts it will appear? Help me Obi Wan you're my only hope.

Obi Wan? There is no Obi Wan, only Yoda there is. Talk funny I do. Short,
green, ugly I am.

And also, no embedding fonts in Mac PPT.

A shame it is.

I often wonder why things like this get missed of the mac/pc version of
powerpoint.

Is it because they ran out of time when coding the thing. Or was it a
copyright/license issue...

like the mac powerpoint has save as a movie, and the pc version does not.

I suspect it has more to do with making use of features the OS supports.
MacOS includes QuickTime; Windows doesn't have anything quite like it.

I'm guessing that the reason Mac PPT doesn't embed fonts isn't down to
time; the Windows version's been able to embed fonts for what, fifteen
years now?

I'm guessing that there's *something* in Windows that makes it relatively
easy to do, something that's not available on Mac.

I think it's a matter of limited number of programmers vs unlimited
number of features to implement.

Not many fonts allow themselves to be embedded, and although it is an
occasionally requested feature, we might have to give up something like
save as powerpoint package or make movie to get it. So the feature
request goes to the "that would be nice to have, but not many people
would use it" pile. Maybe someday. If there was a long-term stream of
requests explaining that this functionality is interfering with their
work (such as this person's complaint), then the request gets moved
closer to the top of the heap and could become implemented.
