Hi All,
I would like to embed the Visio application itself in a .NET winform and
receive the user events I am interested in while relaying the remaining
events back to Visio. This application I am writing in C# needs to support
Visio 2000/2002.
I know that the visio drawing control does this but I do not have an option
of upgrading to Visio 2003 at this time. I understand that I can use the web
browser control to view Visio documents - but that is not of interest to my
application/users of my application need to be able to make active edits to
the Visio document itself.
I basically have two questions:
1) Is there any other way to embed the Visio application itself in a .NET
Winform apart from using the Visio drawing control?
2) I see in some other discussions in this newsgroup that an embedded OCX
needs to be created that can embed the Visio application itself...? How can I
do this? I would like to know more about this.....
Any help is appreciated....
Thanks very much in advance ....
