embedded avi files in Outlook 2007 emails

It used to be in Outlook 2003 when someone sent me an email with an embedded
avi, it would play on opening the email. Now in 2007 it doesn't and it
doesn't even show as being an avi file to allow me to open it in a browser or
media player. Any suggestions? Is there a setting change?

Embedding those objects are not supported. They will still show as
attachment though.
