Hi,
I have asked this before, but couldn't get my situation corrected. It was
suggested that I perfrom a detect and repair, and that seemed to work, but
not for long.
The situation:
I have a PowerPoint 2003 slide, in which I insert an Excel workbook. This
can be 'Create New' or 'Create From File', it doesn't seem to matter. Once
embedded, when I 'Left-click' my mouse in the open embedded workbook, nothing
happens, unless I have an Excel 2003 worksheet open on my desktop. Then,
when I click in the open embedded worksheet, the open Excel workbook suddenly
becomes active and pops to the front of my screen. With the embedded object
open, I can use my cursor keys to navigate the worksheet, or scroll with my
mouse wheel, or 'Right-click' and select from the resulting menu, but that
left mouse click doesn't work. Very frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated. If someone wants to see what happens, I
would be happy to send an example file.
