Embedded HTML File not in Color

I am using MS Word 97. When I insert an HTML file that is defined with
color, the colors don't show in Word. However, when I view the file in
the browser, the colors are there. I have colors set to Auto in the
style, which is "HTML Preformatted".

Any tips on how I can get colors to show?
