Not really, at the moment. The embedded object is not being coded
correctly, so the Windows machine is sending it to the wrong application.
It's a bug... There's a fix on the way.
In the meantime, try Edit>Paste Special>Picture... When you paste.
This will store the chart in the document as a WMF. It may be ugly, but at
least they will be able to see it.

when i embed an image in a word document (i.e. i paste a chart from excel as
an image into the word doc), and then i save it as a regular old .doc file,
the images cannot be viewed on a pc version of office - the error message
"quicktime and a decompressor are needed" is given. isnt there some way to
prevent this from happening? it worked fine in office 04...
