embedded images cant be viewed in PC office?

when i embed an image in a word document (i.e. i paste a chart from excel as an image into the word doc), and then i save it as a regular old .doc file, the images cannot be viewed on a pc version of office - the error message "quicktime and a decompressor are needed" is given. isnt there some way to prevent this from happening? it worked fine in office 04...

Not really, at the moment. The embedded object is not being coded
correctly, so the Windows machine is sending it to the wrong application.

It's a bug... There's a fix on the way.

In the meantime, try Edit>Paste Special>Picture... When you paste.

This will store the chart in the document as a WMF. It may be ugly, but at
least they will be able to see it.

Cheers
