Embedded images in messages do not open

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: Exchange

When I receive a message with embedded images I am not sure how to view. In windows a right click of the mouse and download images would do the trick - am i missing something?

Check if there's a yellow banner at the top of your email that has a
"Download pictures" link. Click that link and the images should be
displayed.

I have same issue. When I click the "Download pictures" link, all of the picture boxes with red X's turn to all blank. No image actually shows up. Help most appreciated. Using MacBookPro v10.4.11, Entourage2004 v11.4.0.

Is this all messages? IF you drag the message to the desktop and then drag
to Apple Mail, does it show correctly there?
