Embedded images in Office 2004 do not show

Charles

I have files ( Powerpoint and Word) that contain embedded images.

They either do not show properly ( it's weird, I can see part of them, like a
faint image). They certainly do not print.

It's a major headache.

Can anyone help?

I think I won't use this suite until an update is released. When can we
anticipate this update? Thanks.

What type of images are they? Are the files new files that you've
created, or were they created in another version (which one?)?

You might want to look in the archives to see if others have managed to
fix or work around the problem you're having:

I suspect you'll need to provide more description of the problem before
anyone can be specific.

MS's usual pattern is to release updates to cover security flaws or
fixes for crashes as soon as they're ready for issue.

Other updates (e.g., less severe bug fixes, minor feature improvements)
are usually released about 6-9 months after initial release, with
perhaps another at 12-18 months. Occasionally, as with Office v.X,
update 10.1.4, a major improvement is released during the product cycle,
but those are usually implemented in the next version.
