We have a sql/crm solution from Pivotal that integrates with MS Word to mail
merge and create/send emails through Outlook.
I use this mailmerge extensively to send out systems training emails with
pictures.
The system holds Word documents as templates and does a mailmerge then sends
emails to my clients.
It was really good until a two or three months back. I've Office 2007 on my
machine and have had for a year or so. My boss' laptop is suffering the
same as mine and is also Office2007. He runs Vista Bus I run XP Pro.
The emails still send but the embedded pictures are now placeholders with
red crosses. Similar systems are fine in Office 2003 (Word/Outlook)and as I
said it was fine in Office2007 until a couple of months back.
I'm also waiting on some suggestions from Pivotal.
It seems to me that something has been updated in MS Office 2007 probably
Outlook 2007 and I'm beggared if I can find it. That's life. Removing all
windows updates isn't really the answer for me.
Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
Thanks
