Embedded JPG's and GIF's in Outlook 2002

Is there a way to view EMBEDDED images in an e-mail? Let's say, for example,
someone EMBEDS a JPG or GIF file IN THE BODY of their e-mail message ... is
there a way for me to view this EXACTLY AS THE AUTHOR COMPOSED IT? In other
words, I don't want the graphic files to show as ATTACHMENTS and then have
little white boxes with little red "X's" inside them through my e-mail ... I
want to see the pictures where the pictures were placed by the author of the
e-mail.

Thanks!

What version of Outlook? Do you have any anti-spam-tools instaled that could
cause this?

I use Spam Inspector ... why would this make a difference?? I was
using Spam Inspector in Outlook Express, and I didn't have any
problems viewing graphic files that were EMBEDDED in e-mail messages.

Pictures located on a Internet location are often send in spam messages and
trackable by spammers. If you disable your spam-tool and send yourself a
test message with embedded pics does it show up correctly now?
