can anyone tell me how to 1. create the code to point to the music file; 2.
get it to autostart; 3. and where exactly to embed it ? I've tried
everything . . .

hey, U know as well as I do, that it wasn't feedback . . . it was veiled
criticism, unwarranted, uncalled for, and off-subject, but hey, to each
his/her own . . .

Format > Background > Background Sounds > Background sound at the bottom of
the dialog. But MP3 files are not supported. Only .wav, .mid, .midi, .rmi,
..au, .aif, .aiff.

Alternatively: Including external files in a Publisher web:

And I recognize by your defensive reaction to an innocent comment from Mary
that you aren't very open to feedback, but I will suggest that you don't
make any background sound automatic. Most people will automatically leave a
page that forces some music upon them. But to each their own...

Find one post I have made that criticizes the work folks do on their
publications. I did not criticize your work, I only commented I could not
understand what you were doing. There is a huge difference.

Sorry, but I stand by my statement. I think you over reacted out of
defensiveness then, as you are now.
