Embedded MS documents not showing proper icon

Hi,

I frequently embed objects like within a PPT slide an excel workbook
and display it as an icon.

When I try to do the same in Visio and insert --> Object --> create
from file --> Browse -> Display as Icon --> Change icon --> From file
(choose appropriate word logo) --> Label (put short name of file) -->
ok --> ok

then though the embed document is available its icon doesnt show up?

Also, Im trying to embed SQL files (MS Sql Server) in my visio and
when I try to change icon the From file doesnt list SQL icons
available in my system (My windows explorer does show SQL icons
correctly as a page with a yellow container in right bottom)?
