I am running 2 Windows 2003 servers as terminal servers. A problem has just
started that I can't seem to figure out.
If a user goes into a word documents containing pictures he gets the famous
red "X"' instead of the image. If he tries to insert an image, formula,
chart, etc into a word, excel, outlook document he gets the following
message.
Error! Not a valid embedded object.
The users have roaming profiles enabled and a temporary solution is to blow
away the profile on the server, have the user log in and re-propogate the
roaming profile to the server. This is only temporary as the problem has
been reappearing for some users.
One server is running Office XP and the other server is running Office 2003.
We have tried reinstalling the Office suite with no luck.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening and how to go about fixing it.
