MSP's doc says that events such as the NewProject event do not occur when
the project is embedded in another document or application. I'm having this
problem trying to open a project in IE. Some events, such as the
App_BeforeAssignmentChange event, do seem to work while others, such as
NewProject, do not. Interestingly, all events seem to fire if the add-in I'm
developing is running in debug mode in the VB6 environment.
What I need to know is how to tell whether my Add-in is being called from
MSP itself or from IE, so I can post an appropriate message or prevent the
user from continuing (preferred). Any ideas?
