embedding audio simply

Hello, I recently took some advice from this newsgroup and learned how to add audio to my website. I used the windows media add-in because I nedded to embed the audio to decrease the load time. The only problem is that now I have found out that my host limits the file types that can be uploaded to the server. The Windows Media add-in uses the .asx extensions for something and I am unable to upload them. Is there a super simple way to embed audio into my site without using this add-in so that I would not require all these extra files? Thanks a lot, Bill

have you tried the simple bgsound tag (within the body tag) or <embed> for
netscape? search google for these to find out how to use them.
