embedding autocad dwgs in excel 2002

Having problems with embedding autocad L.T. Drawings in excel 2002. I get
diagonal lines across the dwg area that I can't get rid of. I do a lot of
Shop dwgs for customers and need to have a way of emailing these dwgs to
those without a cad program or viewer. Perhaps there is an alternate method
of converting these dwgs to a pdf or similar format.
