embedding Connect info in Custom Properties

I would like to store what an object is connected to (will always be 1:1
correspondance) in the shapes custom properties field. I can't seem to do
this with a formula? I would want it to be generated upon connection (Glue)
events.

Any help appreciated.

May be you are right.
Glue section has the name of shape connected.

Thank you for your response.

The formula in the glue info beg and end triger cells always resolves to the
value "2" when glued, which is not helpful for my intention. I am hoping
there is some way, within Shapesheet, to extract the attached shape (which I
do see is present in he formula in the cell).

there are examples in the visio sdk on how to find the connection
information between shapes.

Yes, spent a good deal of time there, and have also read several of yours
(and others) posts regarding connections. The information I seek is the
shape name which is in both the Glue secton and the 1-D endpoint secton of
the shapesheet in the formula. I'd just like a way to parse that into the
custom properties value cell.

and, I'm back to the SDK.
