Embedding Documents

Chris says on his blog that we can embed a document into ON as a note, shown as an icon. Has anyone tried this? I asked in another thread about popup notes and maybe this is a better solution. Can ON notes be embedded?

This is meant for other documents, not ON pages. I honestly don't know
what happens when you try to embed a ON section.
It's really easy to use and works well. You can embed a file completely
or even embed it as link which means it remains at its original
location. Just right-click on any file in Explorer, say copy and paste
it into ON and see what happens.
