embedding fonts & auto run

I am new to powerpoint and I have two questions. I have made a
powerpoint presentation of my design portfolio & I want to burn it on a
CD. I have done "save as" a "power point package" and burned it to the
CD. However, I would like the CD to auto run when it is inserted in
the computer. Right now, the user has to click on a folder & an icon
to get it to run. Is there such a feaure to have it run automatically
when the disk is inserted?

Also, is there a way to embed the fonts I used? On another computer,
all my fonts were replaced with something more "universal."
Thanks,
missmyers

Hi,

In older versions of MacOS you can set a file or program to run when a
CD starts up using your disk burning utility. In OSX you can do this
with movie files using things like Final Cut Pro and other CD/DVD
creating tools. I think that for security reasons you can't choose every
file type any more (or so I've been told - not sure I entire believe it).

PowerPoint does not support embedding fonts. The only way to ensure a
font is available is to provide it or rely on the standard fonts that
Apple and Microsoft supply with their products.
