Are you saying that PPT restarts when you save? What steps (exactly) are you
using to save? I mean, are you pressing Ctrl+S, are you going to the Office
Button, then the Save As flyout, are you using the Office Button the Save As
to open the Save As dialog box, are you doing something else? (There are
about a million ways to save, you know.)
How have you specified the embedding? Did you set it in PPT Options, or are
you pressing the Tools button then Save Options on the Save As dialog? Are
you embedding only the characters used, or are you embedding all characters?
Which fonts are used in the file?
What if you remove the font embedding? Does PPT restart when you save the
file then?
