I'm creating a PPT Template at work, and our corporate fonts are in OpenType
format. Because we send out PPT files around to clients, etc., I want them
to look the same regardless of the system fonts the recipient has installed.
Problem is, I can't seem to embed the OpenType fonts in PowerPoint.
I have even gone as far as to convert the OpenType fonts to TTF, but they
don't appear the same on screen - the otf fonts are smooth, but the TTF fonts
look awkward on screen.
Is there a solution to this? Is it impossible to embed OTF files in PPT, or
is it a matter of license restrictions? If that's the case, there's an easy
workaround since these are custom-designed fonts.
Any information you might have would be extremely helpful.
Thanks!
