embedding music power point

L

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) I have inserted two songs in my power point done on an IMAC. When i save the power point onto a CD along with the icons of the songs, the sound plays when i open the CD and start the power point on my MACBOOK but when I open the CD and start the power point on other computers and when my friends have tried to use the CD version, the music does not play although the icons are burned into it.

Is there a way of embedding the music rather than just inserting it. I thought that might make a difference, so that the music is a part of the power point rather than depending on an outside source.

Does any of this sound like a possibility:

Cause: Some sound file formats do not work in earlier versions of
PowerPoint.
Solution: Use a different sound file format in your PowerPoint 2008
presentation.

Cause: Music added to the presentation was purchased from the iTunes Store.
Solution: Run the presentation on the computer that was used to
purchase the music.

Cause: Windows Media files, such as .wma or .wmv, require a third-party
software application.
Solution: Install Windows Media Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac on
your computer.

Without specifics ‹ type of music file, insertion method, systems & PPT
versions involved, etc. it's difficult to come up with any other ideas.
