Embedding open type fonts in Word document

I need to embed an open type font in a Word document but when I try
this by using the "Embed truetype font" option it doesn't work. I'm
guessing it's for the fairly obvious reason that the font isn't a
truetype font.

Is there a way to embed an open type font in a Word document?

Just did a bit more research and the property for the font is set to
"Editable embedding allowed".
