Embeded autocad dwgs in ms word

When I had MS office 2000 I was able to embed drawings and then edit them
later on.
My company has upgraded to MS office 2003 and suddenly I can't edit the
drawings from the old documents. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hi Daniel,

Are you getting an error message when you try? If so, what is the exact message? What types of 'embedded' drawings are these and
if from a 3rd party app is that app also still available?

The message is:
"The server application, source file, or item cannot be found.
Make sure the application is properly installed, and that it has not been
deleted, moved, or renamed."
- I did a little research on the web, and other people said similar things,
the conclusion seem to be that Office 2003 looks for the original application
(my case AutoCAD 2006) to open the embeded graphics and it does not know/care
that there may be a newer version of the needed software already installed
(my case AutoCAD 2008). I wonder if there is a way to relink the embeded
graphics to the newer software?
Thanks, Daniel
