{ EMBEDWord.Document.8 \s } - Need help

HI,

I have several documents (.docx) with other files inserted such PPP, PDF
etc. I have always been able to see their icons and double click on them to
open them from the word file. Now something change in my computer and where
the Icons used to be it is shown this: { EMBEDWord.Document.8 \s }.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

With just one document open, press Alt+F9 to hide field codes. Exit Word, so
that the setting is correctly written to the registry, and then restart
Word.

It worked! thank you very much. This was my first interaction with this
service and I'm planning to use it more frequently since I do have a lot of
"How to" questions.
