Special a little bit special..
I've have many powerpoint presentation that was create with PowerPoint 2003
SP2 and theses presentations contain
..emf picture.
Since i have installed SP3 update of Office 2003, when i open the same
powerpoint presentation file, the .emf
picture are present but not visible. I can right click and do a save as and
it's work fine.
Also, i can make it visible again with theses steps :
- Double-click on the picture
- Click on "Recolor" no new windows appear the first time
- Click on "OK"
- Double-click again on the picture
- Again on "Picture" tab
- Again on "Recolor" this time a new windows appear for recolor options
- Just check one of the color in the upper left side in the "Original" column
- Magic... the picture is visible again.
I have made the test on a 2nd computer, i have opened the same file on an
Office 2003 SP2, everything was OK. I have
installed the SP3 update of Office and the problem appear. So, it's really
the SP3 update that modify something that
cause the problem. This is not cause by the computer itself.
Is there anybody that have an idea on how to solve this problem ? Cause i
don't want to "recolor" all .emf picture
in all of my powerpoint presentation just because microsoft did something
wrong in their updates.
Best Regards
