eml email

I use Outlook 2003 and I am receiving eml email with the message that it
appears to be forged. The email is an attachment named "message.eml" an is
from a business partner who I receive regular mail from. All of a sudden it
is eml/Outlook Express

That is correct. OE uses eml and Outlook msg. These formats are not
compatible. You can view non-binairy data of an eml file in a text editor
like Notepad if you don't want to start OE.
