Emoticons

I have Outlook 2003 Betta 2 Version loaded on my 'puter at
home. When I type ":)" into a new mail message, it will
convert the text into a smiley face - cool! But, I also
have Outlook 2003 Betta 2 Version loaded on my 'puter at
work and when I type the text for a emoticon, it does not
convert the text. Why is that? FYI, the only difference
in the installation b/t the 2 puters is the home puter has
a full install of Office 2003 including Word 2003. My
work computer does not have Word 2003 installed. Also, my
work computer is using HTML for an editor. (I'm not sure
what the 'puter at home is using for an editor & and I am
going to check on this.) Is it the "editor" that makes a
difference?

The emoticon feature is only available when using Word as the email editor
which is only available when you use Word 2003 and Outlook 2003 together.
