Employee Information Database

Greetings!

I am attempting to create a database to handle my 30+ employees' work and
contact information. Ideally, I would like this to house most all HR and
management information that I generate and reference regularly. I'm thinking
that this is going to be a rather large database to create - which isn't a
problem as there is no date needed for completion from anyone other than
myself. The data would be supplied from many Excel spreadsheets, as well as
manual inputs into any forms.

What I'm wondering is: Is there a current template available for 2003 (or
compatible) that I could customize and/or tailor instead of creating this
entire thing from scratch? If anyone knows of such a file/source it would
really help this overstressed and overtaxed supervisor out tremendously...

I appreciate any and all help that you all can suggest! Please let me know
if there is possibly something that I could do in return!

Thanks!
Nathan

My only advice is DO NOT STORE THE SSN in there. Access is not a secure
database and you will leave yourself open to lawsuits if the information
should be hacked.

Thanks for the tip! I had already planned/thought of that and am planning to
use their employee IDs as the unique key. Being that I work in the healthcare
industry, I'm very conscious of the importance of personal demographic
confidentiality. But I appreciate it!

Thanks!
Nat
