Emptying Deleted Items Folder for Hotmail account

I have Entourage 2004. I am unable to empty the Deleted items folder
for my Hotmail account in Entourage. I have tried the 2 suggestions in
the "Help" file -- 1) holding down control and clicking on the Deleted
Items folder or 2) Run Schedule: Empty deleted items folder -- both for
option #1 there is no text option to empty the deleted items folder,
and for option #2 nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can't empty your Hotmail's Deleted Items folder; the Hotmail server will
automatically purge messages in that folder after a certain period.
Alternatively, you can log into your account via a web browser and empty the
folder through the webmail interface.
