Enable Macros

I am running Word 2002 in XP. I try to open a project in that I get the
error message "The macros in the project are disabled. Please refer to the
online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to
enable macros". How do I enable the macros to run the program?

Go to Tools > Macro > Security and set the security level to Medium.
On the second tab of that dialog, check the box for "Trust all
installed add-ins and templates".

When you open a document that contains macros, you'll now see a dialog
with Disable and Enable buttons. Click the Enable button.

If the macros are in a template stored in the Templates or Startup
folders, you won't even see the dialog; the macros will be enabled
because those are trusted locations.
