Enabling Attachments OutlookXP

Hello,
I am unable to open attachments with OutlookXP. Can you tell me where to
enable to setting? I did this once before, but have just moved to another
machine, and cannot find the setting to enablen attachments. I need the
attachments I e-mailed to myself.
