Enabling Cached Mode with Custom Maintenance Wizard

Tim Oliwiak

Here is the configuration I am working with: Windows XP Pro, all the latest
updates. Office 2003, all the latest updates.

I am trying to push some settings to my PCs by means of the Custom
Maintenance Wizard. One of the settings is to have an Exchange profile
created automatically the first time a user logs on to a particular PC.
Everything works fine, UNLESS I enable Cached Mode in the CMW file. If I
enable Cached Mode, I get an error message when the profile is first created.
The error message is "UNABLE TO OPEN YOUR DEFAULT EMAIL FOLDERS".

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hmmm - I can't help much, but I do know that you have to open Outlook once
to let it *create* the cache file. Have these users already used/done this?
