Enabling Endnote6 connection with Word2003

I would like to use EndNote6 as a reference manager and tried to place the 'EN6CWYW.dot' add-in in Word2003 under the tools menu. The add-in pops up but each time I try to hook up with EndNote6 from the Tools menu, an error message is displayed 'macro is not found or has been disabled by macro security.' So I placed my macro security level to 'low'. Error still props up. What should I do?

Have you checked the Endnote site to make sure you don't need a patch for
Word 2003?

Also, my Endnote 5 for the Mac is very clear that you need to reinstall
Endnote after installing Word, or do a manual installation of the CWYW
add-in. Your CD should have directions on doing that, but "tried to place
the 'EN6CWYW.dot' add-in in Word2003 under the tools menu" doesn't sound
like quite the correct process to me, little as I know re PCs.
