Enabling Number Lock @ Startup

Not exactly an earth shattering question, but how do I get
my OS (2000) to enable the Num Lock key after I boot up my
computer. Previously, whenever I would boot up the number
lock would be on. Somehow this is changed and I now need
to remember to enable the keypad after each startup. Not
a big deal except I usually don't remember until after
I've tried to enter a string of numbers. Thanks.

That's a function of your BIOS. You'll have to enter the BIOS on bootup and
enable the option there. Most PCs allow this via pressing the Del key (or
maybe Esc, or F11, etc, depending on manufacturer) when you first boot.
