Enabling resources to create new tasks or assignments

Hello,
I'd like some of my resources to be able to manage tasks. As per the
Security Group Guide, I gave the resources the following permissions:
Category - Create new tasks or assignment
Category - Assign resources
Global - New Project Task
Global - New Task Assignment
Global - Delegate Tasks
But when the resources go to "Tasks" to create new tasks, for example, these
options/actions are not shown in the side panel. What could be causing this?
