Encountered Errors for Words

Faulting application winword.exe, version 11.0.5604.0, stamp 3f314a2f,
faulting module fx6iaem.dll, version 0.3.0.0, stamp 3d09bd97, debug? 0, fault
address 0x00038d0f.

Need someone to help me out with this error. The words just crash on me for
documents with templates which are not 'Normal.dot'.

Appreciate some kind soul to help me

That .dll belongs to Java: I'm baffled why Word should be triggering an
error in a Java module. But for some diagnostic help, See

Hi TF,

Thanks for the guidance. However, i am running on WORD 2003 and the issues
mentioned doesn't seems to be fit my case.

My WORDs only crash in some circumstances where the template is not
Normal.dot. Wondering if that could be the root cause of the issue.

What you indicate is that maybe the 'non-normal.dot' template has a minor
corruption which is causing Word to error.

How can i identify the path of that template or how do i open that embedded
template and where should i copy this template to so that i can open this
file?

Open on of the documents and use Tools, Templates and Add-ins and it will
show you which template was used to create the document.

The General tab of File | Properties also gives the name of the attached
template.
