encrypting email

Can anyone tell me how to encrypt email in Outlook? I am
with a health care institution that sends confidential
information to a billing service.

The best way, IMO, is to generate your documents in Words,
then encrypt them (with password). You can then attach
those words documents in your email messages. The problem
is: which way would you prefer to send the password
accross; yet since the encryption and password sent
separately, chances would be lesser...
